Mike Rogstad, the owner and founder of Thortech Inc., is an expert in his field and passionate about quality customer service. Mike started working in the gas turbine industry in 1990 after leaving the military. By 1994, he was working for Solar Turbines. After working in San Diego, California, Mike was part of the team from Solar Turbines that brought Saturn, Centaur 40,50, Taurus 60,70, and Mars 90,100 Generators and compressors to West Texas. Mike then serviced West Texas turbines from 1998-2025. During his thirty years of service, Mike performed many commissionings, controls retrofits, turbine and compressor installations, troubleshooting of relay controls through TurboTronics TT1, TT2, TT3, TT4, and TT5, and provided quality maintenance on turbine engines. With over thirty years of experience as a Solar Turbines field service representative, working turbines from Spartan to Titan 250 compressor sets and on SMT 60 - 130 trailer generator sets, Mike is now using his knowledge to build Thortech Inc., a quality service provider for gas turbines.
